I recenty discovered that there is such a person claiming to be Jay Tablante, and who have been calling up various unknown / aspiring models for shoots. This was relayed as a warning to me by one of the models this "Jay Tablante" contacted. On the good side, she was diligent enough to do some research and got my REAL number from other photographers in the industry (who I would personally thank for vouching for me, that I wasn' the "Jay Tablante" this model has been talking to). This aspiring model told me that "Jay Tablante" has been harassing her for the past few months, and kept convincing her to do a shoot with him.

Ever since this model has relayed to me several of his text messages and sent me two phone numbers that he uses to contact models.

I can't believe somebody would actually go so low and use other people's reputation as a means to further their personal perversions. I try to protect my name as much as I can, but this is just a low blow. A low blow beyond my foresight or control even.

For those who personally know me, I have never changed phone numbers for the past 5 years (which I personally am proud of). Whatever this bastard is doing is a load of sh*t. I just don't know how long he has been at this, and who models he has tried reaching.

- I never call models out of the blue. I would always seek the referral of a fellow model or agency who I have worked with in the past.
- I always schedule a meet / greet session with the model before I do any shoots.
- I would glady reach you via landline... this poser apparently insists communications via mobile phone only using pre-paid numbers.. which already makes him quite dubious and stupid.

Over and above using my name for his personal perverse tendencies, I fear for those models who might have bit his little modus operandi. Identity theft is a crime, and this motherf*cker should take swing from a baseball bat.

His pictures must suck big time.

Just want to let all my clients / friends in the industry know and watch out for this. For those models who might have heard from this "Jay Tablante". I apologize for the stress and inconvenience this person has caused you. THAT IS NOT ME.
